About this course
Basic pediatric course for pediatric ward’s general nursing staff
Developed to meet the training needs of nursing staff who do not routinely need to perform resuscitation on infants and pediatric patients
Concentrate on a systematic approach to assess and recognize acute and potentially life-threatening conditions and refer to advanced providers for further intervention
Recognize and perform early high-quality CPR
Basic interventions to stabilize seriously ill or injured infants and children
Effective team interactions
Learn through practical demonstrations, core case discussions and simulations
Includes an American Heart Association (AHA) Provider Manual and PEARS Provider Cardupon successfully completing the course, which is valid for 2 years
